Our business and community partners play key roles in helping to ensure the success of students in Riverside County. Our Career Technical Education (CTE) program is exceptional because of the partnerships that provide technical support and industry expertise to the program – including a unique collaboration with San Manuel to focus on career preparation for Native Americans. The ability to identify regional high-demand career paths and provide technical training becomes critical to region’s economy and our student’s quality of life.
Our CTE Business Affiliates meet regularly to discuss research findings, operational trends and technological advancements that help to continually improve the content of the curriculum in our CTE and School of Career Education programs.
The RCOE works in partnership with Riverside and Alvord Unified School Districts, the City of Riverside, Riverside City College, the University of California, Riverside, and the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce to support the Completion Counts, a college entry initiative in the western area of the county. The RCOE also works with the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership to support career education programs in the Coachella valley.
The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce and the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership are two steadfast partners who understand that supporting Riverside County schools isn’t just a job for students, teachers and parents. And between these two organizations this county has a strong core of committed businesses on our side.
