Thank you for expressing an interest in employment opportunities with Riverside County Office of Education. Whether you plan to work for a local school district or RCOE, we welcome new applicants to our education community. The Riverside County Office of Education is working with our 23 local districts to offer the best education possible to our 350,000 K-12 students.

We have provided the following information in hopes of making your application process easier:

RCOE accepts on-line applications only.  No paper applications will be accepted. For RCOE employment opportunities, please go to the EDJOIN Web site to view job descriptions and apply on-line.

Credentialed Positions

Applicants for credentialed positions seeking initial employment in California public schools are required to provide verification of passing the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST). For CBEST test booklets please call (916) 928-4001.

Applicants seeking employment in this county who do not hold California credentials should apply for credentials directly from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, P.O. Box 944270, Sacramento, California 94244-2700; Telephone: (888) 921-2682.

If you have been selected for substitute positions by RCOE, please login to the following site:

School districts in Riverside County and the Riverside County Office of Education select substitute teachers using the same general procedure as they do for assigning regular teachers.
