Second Annual Early Education Conference set for Oct. 29
The Second Annual Early Childhood Education Conference will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Riverside Convention Center, 3442 Orange Street, Riverside. Continental breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. The conference serves early childhood educators or students enrolled in early childhood courses.
This year there will be a special presentation on using children's music to teach children basic concepts such as colors and numbers as well as social skills of friendship and cooperation by Greg and Steve Productions, winners of numerous accolades including nine Parents’ Choice awards.
Workshops will include practical strategies and fun, engaging activities that participants can easily implement back in their programs. Numerous vendors will have booths at the conference showing the latest resources for early childhood programs.

The registration deadline is October 12, 2009. Cost per participant will be $75. (Includes continental breakfast, lunch, parking, and materials) Make checks are made payable to: Riverside County Office of Education. There are no refunds for cancellations or "no shows" after the registration deadline. Late registrations will be accepted on an "as available" basis.
