Following the keynote address, attendees had an opportunity to learn from the best practices of educators by attending a series of workshops by school and district personnel responsible for the programs being recognized as Models of Academic Excellence and Innovation. These exemplary programs have proven successful in improving student academic achievement and were selected, in part, by their ability to be replicated countywide. Each award winner was recognized during the luncheon by Riverside County Superintendent of Schools, Kenneth M. Young.
