Students from across the county have been recognized for their artistic talents by Kenneth M. Young, Riverside County Superintendent of Schools. (View student photos) Each year the Riverside County Office of Education holds the Winter Holiday Card Competition giving students in third through eighth grades the opportunity to submit an original drawing or painting following a specific theme. (Click holiday cards for larger image.) Winning students and their work are recognized at the RCOE holiday receptions held at the Riverside, Murrieta, and Indio offices. In coordination with Altura Credit Union, selected winners also received a $50 gift card.
