2008 Riverside County History Day Competition
Fifteen school districts with students from across Riverside County competed on Saturday, March 22, 2008, in the Riverside County History Day competition.
Riverside County History Day is the county level competition as part of the larger National History Day program and competition. History Day helps students refine critical thinking and research skills used in all subject areas.
Students participating in the contest chose their own topics of study related to this year’s annual theme of: Conflict and Compromise in History and conducted extensive research. The students produced documentaries, exhibits, historical papers, original performances and websites.
