Riverside County brings home two first-place medals from National History Day
Riverside County had two first place medalists at the National History Day competition (June 14-18) at the University of Maryland.
History Day is for students in grades 6-12 and is a performance-based academic effort that fully supports the California History-Social Science Content Standards. History Day allows teachers creativity in teaching with an emphasis on critical thinking and problem solving for students. History Day offers students the opportunity to apply learned information through authentic assessment in student-outcome based presentations.
