Risk Management

The Risk Management unit provides for the administration of employee health and welfare benefits, workers compensation, property and liability coverage, as well as overall administration of the unemployment insurance claims management system and tax-deferred investment program for school districts and community colleges.

Assembly Bill 1522 – “Sick Leave for All” Law
An employee who, on or after July 1, 2015, works in California for 30 or more days within a year from the beginning of employment is entitled to paid sick leave.

Elements Choice PPO Plan (Minimum Value Plan)
All actively working substitutes and employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible to enroll in a new medical plan offered by RCOE.  Please view the webinar below for details.  Open enrollment is May 9 – May 27, 2016. If you enroll, your coverage will become effective July 1, 2016.
