Robert Nigel Peirce, Her Britannic Majesty's Consul General in Los Angeles, discusses British foreign policy, affairs in Asia and the Mideast, and his diplomatic work in Southern California. CELEBRATING EDUCATORS 2009
Before 450 guests, the Riverside County Office of Education honors the top educators of the year. Highlights: Honors for the county's three top teachers: Loredana Wicketts (Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School) and Sunny Kaura, Centennial High (both of Corona-Norco USD); and Katie Kearney, of James L. Day Middle School (Temecula Valley USD). Administrators honored for 2009 include Beaumont USD Superintendent Barry Kayrell, Assistant Superintendent Guy Romero of Murrieta Valley USD, and Principal Samuel Buenrostro of Centennial High (Corona-Norco USD). Event date May 19, 2009, produced in partnership with Altura Credit Union and Lifetouch Prestige Portraits.
