EDUCATION SUMMIT 09: HOW TO BECOME THE NO. 1 MIDDLE SCHOOL
Margarita Middle School, in the Temecula Valley Unified School District, won the distinction of being the county's top middle school on the strength of innovation and performance gains. At a breakout session at this annual Riverside County Office of Education event, Margarita Principal Karen Hayes and Counselor Dennis Beato explain how their achievement could be replicated even without a bountiful school budget.
