photo of child on playground equipmentFinding quality child care in Riverside County begins with a phone call to RCOE’s Resource and Referral Unit. The unit, operated by RCOE’s Children and Family Services Division, maintains an up-to-date computer listing of more than 1,800 licensed child care facilities in the county. Staff can focus a search based on location or particular needs of the child. Last year, RCOE staff responded to more than 150,000 requests for information about child care issues and provided more than 8,000 referrals for child care placement.
