RCOE takes great pride in providing students the opportunity to shine through a number of student events throughout the year.

Academic Decathlon		167 students
Spelling Bee		50 students
Mock Trial		480 students
History Day		350 students
Science and Engineering Fair		800 students
Family Reading Rally		1,000 students and family
Week of the Young Child		30,000 students and family

History Day Winners Announced

Nearly 350 students participated in the 21st Annual Riverside County History Day on March 15, 2003, at Riverside Community College.

The competition required students to research topics and report findings. Winners in both team and individual categories moved on to the state competition May 8 through 11 at the Hilton in Pasadena.
