Riverside County Office of
Education at the Riverside
Convention Center. In addition, the
2004 Riverside County Teachers of Administrator of the Year (Certificated): Dr. Frank W.Passarella, Superintendent of the Beaumont Unified School District. Administrator of the Year (Classified Management): Charlene Whitlinger, Assistant Superintendent, Business Services, for the Desert Sands Unified School District. Principal of the Year: V. Scott Scambray, Principal of Rancho Verde High School. He has been in public education for 19 years, five years as a principal. Confidential Staff Member of the
Year: Diane Cloud, Administrative Classified Staff Member of the Year: Johnny E. Mosher, Sr., Campus Supervisor/Coach, Jurupa Unified School District. 2004 Riverside County Teacher of the Year, Joseph Balleweg, Chaparral High School, Temecula Valley Unified School District. 2004 Riverside County Teacher of the Year, Kristin Wagner, Palm Desert Middle School, Desert Sands Unified School District. The Hall of Fame inductees are: Marvin Nottingham, president of the Hemet Education Foundation. Jesus “Jess” Ruiz, a nutrition service warehouse driver for the Desert Sands Unified School District. Don Young, a volunteer in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District and Masonic Lodge Master.
