Arlington Regional Learning Center

The Riverside County Office of Education celebrated the opening of the Arlington Regional Learning Center on December 5. Classes have been held at the center since October.

The center, located at 6511 Arlington Ave., Riverside, serves students in Alternative Education, Special Education, and the Cal-Safe Program. The principals are Tony Johnson and Rita Bien. The site includes 26,000 square feet with 13 classrooms, computer lab, and administration offices.

The Arlington Regional Learning Center is the second of seven regional learning centers being planned and constructed throughout the county by RCOE. The next project scheduled to begin in March will be the Mt. San Jacinto Regional Learning Center on the campus of the Mt. San Jacinto Community College in San Jacinto. It is scheduled to be completed in January 2008. Also scheduled to begin construction in late 2007 is the Murrieta Regional Learning Center and Administration facility, located at Madison Ave. and Guava St. in Murrieta.
