ROP becomes CTE

 

In July 2007, RCOE’s Regional Occupational Program department became the Career Technical Education department to better meet the growing CTE needs of the county and to reflect changes in the state and nation. The mission of the CTE department continues to support RCOE’s larger mission of ensuring success for all students by promoting, enhancing, and providing CTE in Riverside County. This change was necessitated by the huge resurgence in CTE statewide. Governor Schwarzenegger and the state Legislature have made CTE a high priority.
