Student Programs and Services | Alternative Education
Alternative Education Programs serve the educational needs of a unique and diverse student population. They include programs in the correctional and home independent studies settings as well as those serving the educational needs of pregnant and parenting teens.
Serving over 8,000 students per year, educational programs are designed to increase students’ basic skill level in reading, writing, and mathematics; to provide opportunities to complete high school graduation or General Education Development (GED) Test requirements and to compete effectively for jobs or to seek higher education.
