Student Programs and Services | Translation Services
The Riverside County Office of Education established the Translation Services Unit to promote successful communication between families, schools, and communities.
Local educational agencies may submit requests for oral or written translation services. Oral services are provided for a variety of activities including Individualized Education Plan meetings, state mandated policy and executive board committee meetings, trainings, and community forums. Documents submitted for translation include psychological, nursing, and speech and language reports. An automated system is available to translate Individual Education Plans.
Opportunities for translators are available for the following languages:
- Spanish
- Laotian
- Vietnamese
There is occasional use for other languages.
