Biography

Mr. Reginald Royster’s career in the military instilled in him the values of hard work and integrity, as well as working selflessly in the name of getting work done, rather than working to take credit. It is Mr. Royster’s belief that being an effective leader takes principle, teamwork, and being committed to serving others rather than oneself. In his workplace at Maintenance and Operations, Mr. Royster leads by example, sharing his knowledge of HVAC technology to his team, and encouraging them to teach each other as well. This love for teaching is also demonstrated in his work as a community youth coach. Of all his accomplishments, coaching is the one of which Mr. Royster is most proud. Teaching young people how to be capable and humble adults and seeing past mentees working in his community is a source of pride for Mr. Royster. Peers describe Mr. Royster as a leader with “an unmatched level of competence and humility.”
