 At the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE), we believe every district deserves strong tools, clear guidance, and shared expertise to build effective Local Control and Accountability Plans (LCAPs). Our LCAP support services are designed to help local education agencies (LEAs) understand technical requirements, align budget and planning, and strengthen practices that foster equity, excellent student outcomes, and continuous system improvement.

Support Services

The following services are provided at no cost to districts to support LCAP development.

  • LCAP Workshops (see registration links below):
  • Monthly LCAP Newsletter
  • LCAP Live! Equity in Action Video Spotlight
    • RCOE’s opportunity to showcase high-impact, innovative practices and services LEAs provide through an LEA’s LCAP that yield positive outcomes for students and their families. 

    • LEAs may complete a request form to have an LCAP action considered for a video spotlight.

  • Customized Support Services (If interested in Customized Support Services, please complete the “Request LCAP Customized Support” form below.)
    • Onboarding training for team members new to the LCAP development process.

    • In-district presentations to school boards or educational partner groups. 

    • In-district support for an LEA’s LCAP team.

Additionally, customized support services such as information presentations to school boards and educational partner groups regarding LCAP can be provided. If interested in customized support services, please complete the “Request LCAP Customized Support” form below.

LCAP Fastpass

  • The LCAP Fastpass option allows for collaborative support from RCOE in partnership with the LEA through the LCAP development process and provides LEAs the opportunity to receive feedback for LCAP compliance prior to local board adoption.
