Distance Learning Resources

A fresh online learning experience for students is now available through the Virtual Applied Learning System (VALS) and Canvas.

Distance Learning Resources

As students in our county return to school remotely this year and our districts continue to provide services, RCOE programs remain committed to providing support to educators, parents, and students to ensure continuity of learning and best practices in the distance learning environment.

Equity, Access and Innovation Supporting Students Now and Always

As distance learning continues, our Instructional Services team created “Equity, Access and Innovation: Supporting Students Now and Always” as a resource to help educators focus on providing just, accessible and innovative learning as we continue with distance learning today and plan for the future return to the classroom.

Virtual Applied Learning System (VALS)

The Riverside County Office of Education is proud to partner with Instructure and the Canvas Learner Management System to provide a viable virtual learning experience for our internal schools and external district partners throughout Riverside County.

Moving Forward Together: A Planning Guidebook for the Safe Reopening of Schools

The Riverside County Office of Education convened a task force of school superintendents, association leaders, educators, parents, and other stakeholders to develop a framework of recommendations to open schools. This guidebook for reopening schools reflects that framework and continues to provide valuable information as districts continue to plan for the next phases of returning students to the classroom.
