Dual Language Programs

Former State Superintendent Torlakson’s Global 2030 outlines a vision “to better prepare students for twenty-first century careers and college, recognizing that multilingualism is an essential skill”.  RCOE is committed to providing support to districts engaged in Multi-lingual programs and pathways in pursuit of that Global 2030 vision.

Support and Services are grounded in the 7 strands of Guiding Principles of Dual Language Education from the Center for Applied Linguistics and the work being done around the new California World Languages Standards.
