Virtual Solo Music Festival
2020 - 2021
Riverside County high school instrumental music students (winds, strings, percussionists) are invited to participate in the festival by submitting a video featuring their performance of a solo, etude, or concerti of their choosing (accompaniment is not mandatory). Please see the Submission Requirements for submission/performance parameters concerning performance programming, as well as performance tips and suggestions. Only submissions uploaded through the RCOE Solo Festival Video Submission Portal will be accepted. Each performance will be adjudicated by instrument group by the adjudication panel. Students will receive individual feedback on their performance, as well as a commemorative patch and Certificate of Recognition from the Riverside County Office of Education. Additionally, festival participants will have the opportunity to partake in a series of music clinics, curated and hosted by each festival adjudicator (time/date to be announced).
