Reducing Chronic Absenteeism Conference

6th Annual Chronic Absenteeism Regional Conference Aligning Conditions of Learning, Outcomes and Engagement for All Students, September 7, 2018, Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Cetner 14075 Frederick Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92553

The sixth annual Chronic Absenteeism conference is a Riverside County initiative bringing together schools, community, and statewide leaders to strengthen the connection between school attendance and academic achievement through research-based practices and strategies. Practices that align to the state priorities in the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) requirements with specific emphasis on School Climate, Student Engagement and Parent Involvement will be shared. The conference sessions will focus on expanding Tier I and Tier II interventions by building on existing systems and structures.
