Senior students at Arlington Regional Learning Center, a community school operated by the Riverside County Office of Education in Riverside, are raising funds to travel to Washington D.C. and New York City for an experiential learning field trip June 2013.
They will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to see our nation’s capital, monuments, government buildings, museums, and other cultural landmarks. Students have been working very hard to raise funds through yard sales, recycling, auctions and dinners.
For more information about this exciting journey, please contact Joelle Hood, Coordinator/Principal, at (951) 826-4400.
In order to be selected, students must meet minimum requirements that include maintaining attendance, a minimum grade point average, pass the California High School Exit Exam, and avoid any inappropriate behaviors that would result in suspensions. They are held to a high expectation in exemplifying a responsible and respectful attitude towards staff and their peers.
Arlington Regional Learning Center is a Riverside County High School community school through the Riverside County Office of Education for students who are at-risk and in need of an alternate environment to obtain a high school education.
