Program frequently organizes Special Events for foster youth students.  These special events help provide the motivation and inspiration students need in order to succeed.

College Bound Welcome Day

College Bound Welcome Day FlyerOffered by the Riverside Community College District, four dates and locations are available for students to learn about campus support programs, financial aid, degree and CTE programs, and how to succeed in college.

6th Annual Foster and Homeless Youth Services Summit

Foster and Homeless Youth Services SummitThe 6th Annual Foster and Homeless Youth Services Summit includes workshop presentations by California Department of Education, partner agencies and local school district personnel. Topics include: available services to assist foster and homeless youth beyond graduation, wellness, nutrition and self-care, district and trauma informed best practices, CALPADS data performance and legislative updates.
