Language and Literacy

The Riverside County Office of Education’s Language and Literacy team is committed to helping our schools’ administrators and teachers implement engaging ELA/ELD curriculum in the classroom for the purpose of creating well-educated students. The implemented standards give students a clear and consistent definition of what is expected in each grade level while defining the knowledge needed to master literacy skills. Resources provided also serve to educate parents and librarians to learn how to utilize and encourage strategies that help students thrive.
