Riverside County Wellness Collaborative

The Riverside County Wellness Collaborative (RCWC), as part of RCOE’s Mental Health Initiative, will focus on developing relationships with districts, charter schools, and community partners in the areas of behavioral health supports.

The Collaborative will support:

  • Sharing of resources, knowledge and expertise

  • Opportunities to network and learn from one another

  • Assistance with designing a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) for prevention, early intervention and intervention activities related to behavior health

  • Aligning goals and outcomes in the area of student health systems and billing infrastructure throughout Riverside County

  • Sustainability in the implementation of School-Based Mental Health

 

  • Ensure grant activities (see details below) are achieving grant goals and objectives. 

  • Promote collaborative efforts within the community

  • Support long-term planning and sustainability

  • Provide guidance, counsel, and expertise in the area of school based mental health and wellness

The School-Linked Partnership and Capacity Grants are a one-time investment totaling $550 million, designed to assist Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) in building the necessary infrastructure and partnerships to implement the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) fee schedule effectively.

The CYBHI Fee Schedule is designed as a long-term, sustainable funding source for children and youth behavioral health services that allows schools and community providers to receive ongoing reimbursement for services. 

The grants are managed by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). RCWC provides support and resources to LEAs that have received the grants. Please see the Riverside County Capacity Grant Resource Site for more information.
