PBIS/MTSS Tier 1 Team Training
Join our virtual PBIS Tier 1 Team Training to support district and school site teams in leveraging their
Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to implement Tier 1 Positive Behavioral Interventions
and Supports (PBIS). Teams will engage in learning how to create safe, positive, and predictable learning
environments – for ALL students and staff – that integrate school mental wellness, social-emotional
learning, and culturally-responsive teaching. This training will be offered at two levels – Year 1 and Year 2 –
to support various implementation needs. All trainings will be presented virtually.
To participate in RCOE PBIS Tier 1 Team Training, the school administrator should complete the
RCOE PBIS Tier 1 Readiness Form. Please email the completed form to Jasmine Fincher, RCOE PBIS
Coordinator, at jfincher@rcoe.us.

Intended Audience
This training is for all members of a district’s or school site’s PBIS Leadership Team, which should be formally identified. The team should include a broad representation of staff, including administration, general education teachers with grade level or department representation, special education representation,
and individual/s with behavioral expertise. Wellness Coaches and/or Community School staff could also be beneficial team members.

Annual Cost: $5,000 per school team
