Learning with AI

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how we work, learn, create, and solve problems. At Riverside County Office of Education, we believe students and educators should not only learn about AI but also learn with AI in meaningful, responsible, and purposeful ways.

Learning with AI means using artificial intelligence as a tool to support thinking, exploration, creativity, and problem-solving. When used effectively, AI can help personalize learning, provide timely feedback, support diverse learning needs, and create new opportunities for student engagement. At the same time, students must develop the skills to think critically, evaluate information, ask thoughtful questions, and make ethical decisions about when and how to use AI.

Our goal is to help educators and students build AI readiness by developing the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to thrive in a world where AI is increasingly present. We believe the future belongs not to those who can simply use AI, but to those who can use it thoughtfully, responsibly, and in partnership with human creativity and expertise.
