The School of Education at RCOE provides the California Administrative Services Credential (CASC) Program, a two-year, job-embedded, individualized coaching program for recently hired school administrators working under the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC). New administrators must begin a CASC Program within one year of beginning an administrative position.
The RCOE School of Education is proud to offer the largest and most comprehensive administrator preparation programs in the state of California.
Our exceptional research-based program is individualized, providing each candidate the opportunity to showcase administrative and operational knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to effectively lead, manage, and improve educational organizations.
Candidates must successfully complete all program requirements prior to recommendation for the Clear Administrative Services Credential, including:
Candidates must complete two years of successful, full-time experience in a qualifying administrative position while holding a valid Preliminary Administrative Services Credential prior to recommendation for the Clear Administrative Services Credential.
The cost to participate is $7,500 which includes the $500 deposit that is submitted with the online application. There are multiple payment options available to help candidates pay for the program; details can be found in the payment plan which is part of the online application.
The application deadline for fall CASC is August 31 for each program year. The fall CASC cohort begins in October of each program year.
The application deadline for spring CASC is March 31 for each program year. The spring CASC cohort begins in May each program year.
*Note: If the program is at capacity for a cohort, prospective candidate applications will be considered for the upcoming enrollment period.
