Child Care Initiative Project

The demand for child care in the state of California far exceeds the supply, creating a constant need for new, quality child care providers. The Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) was established to recruit, train, and retain licensed family child care providers in targeted communities.

The goals of CCIP are:

  1. To increase the number of licensed child care spaces in Riverside County for infants and toddlers by assisting potential providers through the Community Care Licensing process.
  2. To improve the quality of child care being provided for infants and toddlers in licensed family child care homes in Riverside County by providing training and workshops.
