Center for Teacher Preparation
The Center for Teacher Preparation supports aspiring educators in meeting California’s preliminary credential requirements through job-embedded intern pathways, targeted coursework, and services for obtaining a long-term substitute permit. All programs are aligned with the standards of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), ensuring candidates are well prepared to enter the profession with confidence and competence.

Candidates participate in a job-embedded learning experience while receiving meaningful graduate level coursework supported by expert instructors, mentors, and a peer cohort.
