Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Riverside County Office of Education Emergency Preparedness team is participating in updating Riverside County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP). Our role includes attending planning meetings, providing information about RCOE’s facilities and vulnerabilities, and identifying mitigation projects that protect our students, employees, programs, and property.

As part of this work, we are encouraging school districts and community members to participate by completing the County's public survey and providing their input on how to improve mitigation efforts and reduce disaster risk in Riverside County and their communities.

This is your chance to share your priorities and opinions regarding natural hazards and propose ideas for reducing risks and losses to the community.
