Student Events

The Riverside County Office of Education hosts countywide academic events for students in grades 4–12 that are aligned with state standards and support classroom instruction. 

These academic programs extend learning beyond the classroom, providing students with opportunities to apply their knowledge, collaborate with peers, and challenge themselves in engaging settings.

Each year, thousands of students participate in these events to compete at the county level, earning invitations to state and national competitions.

Participation is open to public, charter, private, and parochial schools, with opportunities for independent home-schooled students to participate through their school of record.
