Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support

PBIS/MTSS Individualized - Tier 3 Consultation

Intensive (Tier 3) PBIS systems and practices are designed for the small percentage of students who require more individualized support than what is provided through Universal (Tier 1) and Supplemental (Tier 2) PBIS practices. This training series supports teams with the systems necessary for implementing Tier 3 interventions, which are essential for addressing highly disruptive behaviors that create barriers to learning. Additionally, we will emphasize the importance of behavior support expertise and the collection of formal fidelity and outcome data to ensure effective and equitable support for all students. Most importantly, we will examine teaming structures, encouraging participants to select their Tier 3 Team Members carefully, as the knowledge base and function of the team is different from the Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams.

To participate, the School Administrator should complete the Tier 3 Readiness and Commitment Form to register for PBIS Tier 3 Team Training. Please share/email the completed form to Denise Granger, RCOE PBIS Coordinator, at dgranger@rcoe.us.
